Logging In

I just signed up for my subscription. What happens next?

1) You will receive an e-mail prompting you to create a password for this site. Make sure to check your SPAM box.
***Note: This site is NOT the IGNITE platform, simply the site where you can manage your account and any seats you may have connected to your account.
2) You will be sent an e-mail with your receipt for your monthly subscription (Thank you!).
3) You will receive an e-mail from “IGNITE via Workplace” with the subject line: “IGNITE invited you to use Workplace”. Click the blue button inside this email and follow the steps to join the IGNITE platform.

How do I login to the IGNITE platform?
THE ONLY WAY to first login to the IGNITE platform is through the invitation e-mail. You HAVE to enter through this e-mail.The e-mail sender will be “IGNITE via Workplace” with the subject line: “IGNITE invited you to use Workplace”. Click the blue button inside this email and follow the steps to join the IGNITE platform. You might need to check your SPAM box to find this email!

What's the URL for the IGNITE platform?
You can only login if you have first entered through the invitation email. Anytime after you have accepted this invite, feel free to login through this URL: http://ignitevet.facebook.com

Is IGNITE connected to my personal Facebook?
Nope. Not at all. There is no association between your personal Facebook and IGNITE. You will not be able to share content between the two sites, and none of your friends or relatives can follow you on IGNITE.

Is there an app to use IGNITE on my phone?
Yes! Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and download“Workplace by Facebook”. Once downloaded, use the same login and password that you used to register and login. When you use the app thereafter, you will not need to enter your login and password, it will remember who you are.

Using the Platform

How do I change my e-mail settings?
1) Click the wheel cog in the top right corner of IGNITE and select “Settings”.
2) Click Notifications, then click Email.
3) Make your adjustments.

How do I edit my profile information?
You can edit your profile picture on the IGNITE platform.
Any changes to your name, credentials, or other written profile information can be made in your Account.

How do I find content on IGNITE?
IGNITE has hundreds of resources available to you! To find them quickly, just type your topic of interest in the top search bar. Watch this quick how-to video for a demonstration.

How do I start a discussion or comment on a post?
To start a discussion, simply make sure you are in the group best suited for the topic you intend to discuss and start typing in the “Write something…” box just under the group banner. You can upload documents, photos, videos, and much more. To comment on a post you like, go to the “Comment” box directly below the original post and add your thoughts.

Subscriptions and Payment

How do I purchase more subscriptions for my employees?
When you are logged into your Learning Account, click on “Subscriptions” and follow the steps.

How do I cancel my account?
Noooo! Don’t leave us!! But if you must, contact member support at contact@ignitevet.com. If you are looking to cancel seats but not your entire subscription, contact member support at contact@ignitevet.com to avoid being charged for empty seats. Please note that if you have had an "extra" subscription for more than 1 month, we will not be able to refund you. We are also unable to refund any Annual subscriptions.

How will my account be charged if I cancel my subscription?
We are unable to refund any Annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are charged on a monthly basis, on the same date the original subscription was purchased. For example, if Suzie purchases her subscription on January 8th, and cancels on February 2nd, she will not be charged again on February 8th.

What happens if recurring credit card charges fail?
In the case of an automatic payment failing in relation to a monthly hosting subscription, our system will alert you via email that the credit card charge has failed and that you must take immediate action. If we don’t hear back from you and/or don’t receive payment, we will need to deactivate your account.

Invoices charged automatically will retry failed payments at the optimal times up to 4 times within 1 week before canceling the subscription. Any such suspension or termination will result in the cancellation of any promotional programs applicable to your service. You agree to submit any disputes regarding any charge to your account in writing to IGNITE within sixty (60) days of such charge, otherwise such dispute will be waived and such charge will be final and not subject to challenge.

Keep in mind that as per our Terms and Conditions, you have given IGNITE, our affiliates, providers of third party services, and subcontractors a non-exclusive, fully- paid, perpetual, royalty-free, transferable, revocable, worldwide license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute the content you have provided to us (in whole or in part).

How does IGNITE use my information? Will my personal data be protected?
Short answer: yes, your personal data is protected.
Long answer: IGNITE uses Workplace as a platform, and Workplace is powered by Facebook. Workplace runs completely separate to consumer Facebook. Workplace serves many large companies across the world, including banks and governments and has ensured top level security in order to protect your data.
